William "Willie" E. Hicks

William Eli “Willie” Hicks, 62, of Litchfield, passed away on Mon., Dec. 7, 2020 at 6:21 p.m. in HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.  He was born on Jan. 21, 1958, in Litchfield, IL, a son of James Leo Anderson and Nora Maxine (Burdell) Hicks.  He graduated from Litchfield High School with the Class of 1976.  Willy owned and operated Triple H Plumbing with his brother Leo and nephew Zachary Scott.  He also was the Superintendant of Three County Water District for over 20 years until his retirement.  He married Rita Sue “Susie” Loman on Nov. 22, 1980.  She preceded him in death on March 16, 2004.  He later married Donna Patricia (Webb) McNeal on August 7, 2013.  She survives.  Willy was a member of South Side Church in Litchfield and the Litchfield Moose Lodge #1634.  He enjoyed shooting, fishing, and buying/reselling items.  He operated “I buy and sell everything from A-Z.”  In addition to his wife Donna, he is survived by:

1 daughter, Nicole (Scott) Thompson of Litchfield

Step-son, Jason (Jamie) Ricchiardi of Atlanta, GA

Step-daughter, Brianne (Kirby) Harmon of Raymond

1 brother, Leo Hicks of Litchfield

4 grandchildren, Rayanne Thompson; Brian Thompson; Elizabeth Thompson; Parker Milanos

5 step-grandchildren, Christian Ricchiardi; Noah Ricchiardi; Benjamin Ricchiardi; Reed Harmon; Ruby Harmon

2 step-great-grandchildren, Lilehla Ricchiardi; Stella Ricchiardi

Willy was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Susie; and his sister-in-law, Chris Hicks.

A visitation will be held on Fri., Dec. 11, 2020 from 4 – 7 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield.  Due to CDC guidelines, social distancing rules will apply and masks will be required.  Memorials may be designated to Nicole & Scott Thompson and family.  Cremation rites will follow the visitation.  Private interment will be held at a later date.
