Wanda Mary (Fleming) Randle

Wanda Mary Randle, 93, of Litchfield, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 5:10 p.m. at Heritage

Health in Litchfield. Mrs. Randle was born December 11, 1929 in Litchfield, a daughter of Francis Lee and Mayme (Jones) Fleming. She graduated from Litchfield High School with the Class of 1947. She attended MacMurray College in Jacksonville. She and Glenn L. Randle were married on April 17, 1948 in Litchfield and later divorced. Mrs. Randle was a well-known face for many years in downtown Litchfield where she managed Sidney’s Tot & Teen Shop. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Litchfield and the Litchfield Country Club. She enjoyed playing bridge, and in her younger years enjoyed golfing and bowling.

Mrs. Randle is survived by:

1 son, Ed Randle of Litchfield

1 daughter, Leigh Ann (Thomas) Kretschmar of Spring, Texas

2 grandchildren, Kelly Kretschmar of Houston, Texas and Andy (Erin) Kretschmar of Austin, Texas

3 great-grandchildren, Caroline, Drew and Grayson Kretschmar

1 niece, Jane (Mark) Leitschuh of Troy, Illinois

Mrs. Randle was preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister-in-law Harold Lee and LoAnn Fleming and her niece, Amy Fleming Trau.

Funeral services for Mrs. Randle will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Litchfield. Rev. Jason Plumer will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church in Litchfield.
