Wanda Mae Miller, 89, of Monticello, formerly of Raymond, passed peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Piatt County Nursing Home in Monticello. She was born in Raymond, IL on September 14, 1932, a daughter of Earl and Evah (Fite) Boehler. She graduated from Lincolnwood High School and later attended Tri-County Beauty Academy in Litchfield. She married Stephen H. Miller on May 15, 1954. He survives. During her lifetime, she enjoyed baking, crafts, and square dancing, as well as managing the home and her children. In addition to her husband, she is survived by:
2 sons, Dan (Donna) Miller of Highlands Ranch, CO and Andy (Jennifer) Miller of Sidney, IL.
1 daughter, Tammy (Patrick) Mc Lane of Oreana, IL.
2 grandsons, Brian McLane and Dillon Miller.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers William Boehler and Glenn Boehler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raymond’s Catholic Church in Raymond. Fr. Florent Kanga will preside. Burial will follow in the St. Raymond Cemetery. Visitation will be held beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. A luncheon following the services will be held at the Community of Faith Church (the former Presbyterian Church) on North O'Bannon Street in Raymond, NOT at the K.C. Hall as there is another function there.
