Vivian Leslie (Cissna) Dealey

Vivian Leslie Dealey, 63, of Sawyerville, IL, passed away on Thursday, November 9th, 2023, at 11:40 a.m. at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

She was born August 10, 1960 in Oak Park, IL, the daughter of Charles & Joyce (Milligan) Cissna.  Vivian married Gilbert L. Dealey in July of 2020 in Sawyerville. 

Mrs. Dealey attended college for 2 years at Kaskaskia Community College in Centralia.  She was a member of Faith Fellowship in Litchfield and was active with the Latter Rain Ministries.  Vivian enjoyed volunteering to help others, including the Motorcycle Ministry for the Christian Motorcycle Association.  When she wasn’t riding her Harley, she was spending time loving on her family and fishing.

In addition to her husband, Gilbert, Mrs. Dealey is survived by her son, James (Mickayla Patton) Hillard, of Thompsonville, IL., her brother, Charles J. Cissna of Harrisburg, IL, her sister, Sandra C. Schepp of Carmi, IL, and her four grandchildren, Jesse, Tylar, Jacob, and Nevaeh.  Step son, Evan Dealey and a step daughter, Rachael Dealey, both of Litchfield, IL   Additional family members include; Heather Schepp and famly of Carmi, IL., Carmen Weeks and family of Aurora, IL., Jennifer Coin and family of Rockford, IL and Mike Cissna of Aurora, IL.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Cindy Lynn Cissna, and her granddaughter, Isabella Hillard.

A memorial service for Mrs. Dealey will be at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield, starting at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17th, 2023.  Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services.  Rev. Albert Chaney of Faith Christian Fellowship will officiate.  The family asks for any memorials to be made to Nevaeh Hillard, C/O James Hillard.
