Virginia E. Moore

Virginia Ellen Moore, 91, of Litchfield, passed away on Wed., Sept. 1, 2021 at 1:10 a.m. at HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.  She was born on Dec. 20, 1929, in Gillespie, IL, a daughter of Braden and Maona (Crawford) Moore.  Virginia graduated from Gillespie High School with the Class of 1947.  She was a Quality Inspector for several years at International Paper/CPC Rexel in Litchfield.  Virginia followed the Catholic faith and enjoyed gardening.  She is survived by:

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers, Elmer; Maurice; Stanley; Braden; and Harry Moore; 2 sisters, Mildred Moore; Marion Easton.

No services will be held.  Cremation rites will be accorded.  Memorials may be directed to the University of Illinois Foundation in support of the Virginia E. Moore Scholarship Fund, 1305 West Green Street, Urbana, IL 61801.
