Terry Dean Frey

Terry Dean Frey, 84, of Litchfield, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 5:55 a.m. at Heritage Health of Gillespie. Mr. Frey was born June 2, 1939 in St. Louis, MO, a son of Lawrence O. and Mary L. (Panske) Frey. He graduated from Litchfield Community High School with the Class of 1957. He was a proud United States Army veteran. Mr. Frey and the former Roberta Ann Parrish were married on May 30, 1959, at St. Timothy United Methodist Church in Litchfield. Mrs. Frey passed on July 13, 2004. Mr. Frey was a salesman for M.J. Kellner Foodservice for many years. He was a member of the Litchfield Moose, an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, enjoyed watching NASCAR, and working in his yard. He especially cherished time spent with family and friends, and his great-grand dogs.

His daughter, Shelley (Scott) Schmidt of Litchfield

His granddaughters, Sarah Schmidt of Litchfield, and Dr. Kelly L. Schmidt (husband Seth McCormick) of Columbia, MO.

In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Frey was preceded in death by two sons, Andrew Robert Frey and Timothy Frey.

Funeral services for Mr. Frey will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2023, at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Memorials may be made to the Litchfield Veterans’ Memorial Garden, P.O.
