Susan Ann Shreve

Susan Ann Shreve, 75, of Litchfield, passed away at Kindred Hospital St. Louis, April 10th, 2024.  She was born in Litchfield, April 1, 1949, a daughter of William Michael and Marie L. (Plopper) Shreve.  She attended and graduated Litchfield Community High School, Class of 1966. 

Susan was a dedicated employee for 35 years with the State of Illinois, Secretary of State.  She loved hosting family and friends for holidays and special occasions.  Susan also raised parakeets and fish.  Her dog, Bear, was always by her side.  She was a loving sister and aunt.

Ms. Shreve is survived by her sister, Melissa (companion Chris McKeal) Hale, of Litchfield, 8 nieces, Lynn Furlong, Patty (Mark) Jacobs, Leane Williams, Shelly (Henry) Bolen, Shannon Lehnen, & Bree (companion Cameron Dever) Hale, Sheena Spencer, and 8 nephews, Stan (Brenda) Shreve, David Shreve, Jr., Joseph Shreve, Michael Shreve, Carl (Lisa) Shreve, Gary (Stacy) Shreve, Cody (Krystin) Hale, & Miles Dever.

In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her brothers, Gary Shreve, William Shreve Jr., Gene Shreve, and David Shreve, and a sister, Jane Shreve.

Memorial services are pending as Plummer Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
