Steven R Osterman

Steven R. Osterman, 67, of Mt. Olive, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 6:06 p.m. in his home.

He was born in Chicago on December 31, 1955, the son of Albert J. and Mary J. (Preble) Osterman, Jr. He graduated Litchfield High School with the Class of 1973.

Mr. Osterman married the former Shelly Korunka on November 5, 1977. She passed on December 27, 2001. He later married the former Dena Dey; they later divorced. Mr. Osterman worked for Adenca Medical Cabinet Company as a cabinet maker. He was currently employed in the warehouse by Market Basket in Edwardsville. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and hanging out with his friends.

Mr. Osterman is survived by:

3 daughters; Tricia (Ryan) Campbell of Erin, TN, Christa Stagner of Ballwin, MO, and Amy (Bill) Seiber of Effingham, IL

2 sisters, Kathy (Stan) Catavu of Elgin, IL and Leandra Matson of Battle Ground, WA

4 grandsons; Nathan Keeton, Mitchell Stevenson, Joey Seiber and Will Seiber

And 3 nephews, Travis Schwab, Lee Catavu and Chris Catavu.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, his parents, and a sister, Debra K. Owens. 

Services will be planned for a later date. Plummer Funeral and Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
