Shawn Denton

Shawn Michael Denton, 44, of Litchfield, passed away on Sat., April 10, 2021 at 11:02 a.m.  He was born on June 27, 1976, in Litchfield, IL, a son of Kevin Eugene and Mary Ann (Wells) Denton.  Shawn graduated from Litchfield High School.  He was a laborer at the Walgreens distribution center in Edwardsville.   He enjoyed going to the gym – Snap Fitness in Litchfield.

Shawn is survived by:

2 sons, Jaden Denton

              Evan Denton (U.S. Army)

2 daughters, Alyssa Denton

          Kira Denton -- ALL of Carrollton, IL

3 sisters, Jennifer Denton of Litchfield

                 Sarah (Travis) Painter of Mt. Olive

                 Jamie Denton of Litchfield

Shawn was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann; 1 sister, Kristi Denton; Maternal grandparents, George & Willa Wells; 1 aunt, Sandra Giller.

Memorial services for Shawn will be held at a later date.
