Penny M. Allen

Penny Marguerite Allen, 69, of Litchfield, passed away on Mon., Sept. 13, 2021 at 10:38 a.m. in Aperion Care in Litchfield.  She was born on Feb. 2, 1952, in Litchfield, IL, a daughter of William Gilbert and Esther Ann (Miller) Allen.  She graduated from Litchfield High School with the Class of 1970.  Penny is survived by her brother, William “Bill” Allen of Joelton, TN. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister; Sandra Farmer.

Graveside funeral service will be held on Sat., Sept. 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Litchfield.  Rev. Gary Schwab with the First Presbyterian Church in Litchfield will officiate.   Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield.  A funeral procession will then line up and proceed to Elmwood Cemetery.
