Paula J Jones

Paula Joy Jones, 66, of Litchfield, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Fort Riley, KS, June 26, 1957, a daughter of Harold E. and Nancy M. (Suits) Kirby. Paula graduated from Litchfield High School with the Class of 1976, and also attended Capital Area Vocational Center’s nursing program. Paula dedicated her life to caring for others, bringing joy and enriching the lives of her children, grandchildren, and hundreds of patients during her career as a licensed practical nurse, most recently with Aperion Care in Litchfield. Paula was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, and enjoyed crocheting, singing karaoke, camping, fishing, and Facebook.

Paula is survived by:

3 sons, Shaun Weller of Litchfield; Dr. Jason (Alison) Weller of Bridgewater, MA; and Bryan Weller of Litchfield

1 brother, Michael Kirby of Aubrey, TX

2 sisters, Beth Law of Litchfield and Rhonda Foster of Bradenton, FL

5 grandchildren, Bryan Weller, Jr.; Lucas Weller; Madyson Weller; Fredchesca Lemaster; and Zaviar Weller.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents and her loyal canine companion, George.

Private family services will be held. Plummer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
