Patti June Catalano

Patti June Catalano, 76, of Mt. Olive, passed away at her residence on Thursday, August 22, 2024.  Born January 31, 1948, she was a daughter of Russell J. and Norma Hoover, and a graduate of Northwestern High School in Palmyra, IL. Patti and Timothy S. Catalano were married August 28, 2004 in Hillsboro, IL. He preceded her in death April 23, 2024.

During her working career, Patti was employed through the years as a telephone operator and supervisor with GTE in Jacksonville, as a bartender at Lois’ Landing in Litchfield, and at Litchfield Floral. She enjoyed collecting angel figurines, designing floral arrangements, was an avid reader, and was active with the Macoupin County Genealogical Society. Patti cherished her dogs, Moochy, Rocko, and Bandit “Boo-Boo”.

Patti is survived by:

A son, David (Stephanie) Otten of Carlinville

A step-son, Timothy J. (Aimee) Catalano of Wright City, MO

3 grandchildren, Stephen (Cheyenne) Otten; Deven Otten; and Alexander Otten.

2 step-grandchildren, Bantley Catalano and Camille Stump

2 great-grandchildren, Oliver Otten and Hunter Otten

Patti was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Services for Patti will be held at a later date.
