Patricia Ann Smith

Patricia Ann Smith, 94, of Grant Park, formerly of Kincaid, went home to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, at 8:47 p.m., Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee. She was born June 23, 1931, in Colton, South Dakota, a daughter of Fred & Mary (Klemm) Harrison. She graduated from South Fork School in Kincaid, IL, with the class of 1949. Patricia married Claude Smith on October 6, 1954; he preceded her in death. She held memberships at the Taylorville Christian Church and TOPS. She loved to read, color, write letters and send cards, and enjoyed plants and hummingbirds. She took an active role in the lives of her grandchildren & great-grandchildren and always cherished their hugs.

Her daughter, Mary (Bryon) Meyer of Grant Park, IL

Her brother, Jim (Joann) Harrison of Tovey, IL

Her sister, Gloria Henley of Kincaid, IL

3 grandchildren, Kayla (Joshua) Resto, Christian Meyer, & Courtney Meyer

2 great-grandchildren, Azariah & Manasseh Resto

Several nieces & nephews

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Fred E. Smith, and 2 brothers, Michael Harrison & Max Harrison

A Celebration of Life will be held at Pleasant Hill Christian Church in Raymond on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Dave Ziegenbein will officiate. The family suggest memorials be sent to Midland United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 530, Kincaid, Illinois, 62540.
