Michael Allan Johnson

Michael Allan Johnson, 54, of St. Louis, MO, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 at his residence in St. Louis, MO. He was born October 2, 1967 in Waverly, Iowa , a son of Keevin Clarence and Dee Ann (Schwab) Johnson. He attended O’Fallon, IL schools. A masonry contractor, Mr. Johnson owned and operated Mike’s Tuckpointing. He treasured spending time with his family, barbequing, hunting and collecting guns. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Mr. Johnson is survived by:

5 sons, Joseph M. (Jamie) Steigelman of Granite City, IL; Austin M. (Cassidy) Sanborn of St. Louis, MO; Taylor M. (Ariel) Sanborn of St. Louis, MO; Liam (Josie) Elliot-Rosenau of Independence, MO; and Keevin Johnson of St. Louis, MO.

1 daughter, Lauren (Paul) Dietz of St. Louis, MO.

1 brother, Travis (Judy Holbert) Johnson of Henderson, IL.

2 sisters, Nicki (Allen) McClary of Woodburn, IL and Tammi (Lonnie) Mixen of Litchfield.

11 grandchildren, Eric & Xander Adams; Jayden, Julien, Tyson, & Derek Sanborn; Connor, Taylor, Nevaeh Sanborn; Avayah Taylor; and L’Oreal Dietz.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Derek Sanborn.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Johnson will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Honey Bend, IL. Visitation will be at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield, IL from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. The family suggests memorials be made in care of Tammi Mixen for funeral expenses.
