Matthew Richard Polston

Matthew Richard Polston, 57, of Litchfield, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 1:48 a.m. in Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He was born November 24, 1962 in Chula Vista, California, a son of Richard Lee and Alice Cecelia Polston. He graduated from Stuart High School in Louisville, Kentucky.  Mr. Polston was an engineer technician and worked with Atmel Technologies, United Technologies and Honeywell Corp.  He was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Litchfield.  He enjoyed reading and working on computers. He and his father loved to fly-fish for trout. Matthew followed aviation trends and loved to go flying.  Matthew is survived by:

His mother, Alice Polston of Litchfield and several Cousins on both sides of the family.

Mr. Polston was preceded in death by his father, Richard Lee Polston; Grandparents, Paul & Cecelia Gurick, and Woodrow & Neol Polston.

Private Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Friday, September 18, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Litchfield.  Father Dan Willenborg will preside. There will be no visitation. 

Due to CDC requirements and guidelines, social distancing rules apply and masks will be required.

The family suggests memorials be made to Coats for kids.
