Mary Jane Baugher

Mary Jane Baugher, 85, formerly of Hillsboro, IL, passed away in her home at 9:00 a.m., Monday, March 20, 2023, in Petersburg, IN.  She was born on June 29, 1937, to Lloyd and Grace Mildred (Emmons) Giberson, Sr.  She married Joseph McCoy Baugher at the home of his parents in Schram City, IL, on February 22, 1957.  In her younger years, she was an avid softball player and bowler.  She enjoyed working for many years as a secretary at Edwards Real Estate and Rosentretter Insurance, both in Hillsboro.  Mrs. Baugher also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Baugher is survived by:

2 daughters, Brenda (Steve) Rappe of Winslow, IN, and Barb (Henri) LeVeque of Huntingburg, IN,

2 grandchildren, Joseph (Alicia) Rappe and Jamie (Justin) Huston,

And 5 great-grandchildren, Jackson and Eleana Rappe and Emery, Charlotte and Isaac Huston.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Baugher was preceded in death by her husband.

In accordance to her wishes, there will be no services for Mrs. Baugher.  Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is in charge of arrangements.
