Mark Daniel Buehrer

Buehrer, Mark Daniel, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 24, 2020 at the age of 56. Beloved husband of 32 years of Sarah Buehrer (nee Sheffler); dear father of Terrill Hall, Grant Buehrer, Peyton Buehrer and Blake (Shelby) Buehrer; loving son of Lydia Buehrer (nee Laufer) and the late Ron Buehrer; brother of Judy (Mark) Vasel and Tom (Janice) Buehrer; dear uncle, brother-in-law, cousin and friend to many.

Mark graduated from Litchfield High School in Litchfield, Illinois in 1981. He then went on to graduate from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 1985. While in school, he met his wife Sarah and they were married on October 17, 1987. Mark and Sarah, along with their sons have called the St. Louis area home for over 25 years, where Mark had a long-term career as an Actuary. Mark was a devout and faithful Christian, lover of music, and a member of Lafayette Church of Christ where he served on the praise team. He also had a strong affinity for sports, particularly golf, and shared a lifelong fandom for the Chicago Cubs and Kansas City Chiefs with his family. Mark remained generous throughout his life, and in his passing was able to donate his organs.

Services: Funeral service at Lafayette Church of Christ, 115 New Ballwin Rd, Ballwin, Saturday at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christian Family Services or Camp Neotez.
