Lois A. Wilson

Lois Ann Wilson, 62, of Litchfield, passed away on Wed., Aug. 11, 2021 at 12:25 p.m. in her home surrounded by her family.  She was born on June 10, 1959, in Meyersdale, PA, a daughter of Robert and Phyllis (Lung) Housel.  Lois worked in housekeeping at The Garden’s Motel, and Holiday Inn, and was a CNA at HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.  She married Randle Wayne Wilson on June 16, 1977 in Litchfield, IL.  He survives.  Lois enjoyed gardening and floral gardening, watching football, camping, fishing, and traveling.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by:

1 son, Randy (Tabatha) Wilson, Jr. of Litchfield

2 daughters, Amanda Wilson of Litchfield

                       Stacy (Nick) Pryor of Litchfield

1 step-daughter, Lisa Zippay of Raymond

3 brothers, David Housel of Meyersdale, PA

                    Gene (Rose) Housel of Salisbury, PA

                    Jason (Crystal) Lung of Meyersdale, PA

4 sisters, Pamela (Bill) Stanton of Accident, MD

               Rox Wooden of Buchanan, WV

                Terrie (Scott) Twombly of Berlin, PA

                 Mellisa (Steve) Cook of Frederick, MD

12 grandchildren

5 great-grandchildren

Lois was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Sun., Aug. 15, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield.  Rev. Nathan Diveley of Southside Church in Litchfield will officiate.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Litchfield.  Visitation will be held Sat. Aug. 14, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorials may be designated to the family of Lois c/o Randle Wilson.
