Lloyd Rogers

Lloyd William Rogers, 70, of Hillsboro, formerly of Litchfield, passed away on Mon., Dec. 13, 2021 at 11:39 a.m. at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria.  He was born on Aug. 4, 1951, in Litchfield, IL, a son of Lloyd George and Juanita (Dixon) Rogers.  He graduated from Litchfield High School with the Class of 1970.  Lloyd recently worked at Carlisle Syntec Systems in Greenville as a Machine Operator – Forklift Operator.  In his earlier years, he worked at Echlin Manufacturing in Litchfield for 30 years, Rural King Farm Supply in Litchfield, Fiat-Allis in Springfield, and Plastene Supply Co. in Portageville, MO.  Lloyd married Tammy Kay Young on April 20, 2001 in Hillsboro.  She survives.  He was a member of Cornerstone Ministries in Litchfield.  Lloyd enjoyed watching movies, dancing, and especially loved spending time with his grandkids.  In addition to his wife Tammy, Lloyd is survived by:

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, Harold Rogers.

Funeral service will be held on Sat., Dec. 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield.  Rev. Steve Benthal of Cornerstone Ministries will officiate.  Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield.  Visitation will be held Fri., Dec. 17, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield.  Memorials may be designated to Cornerstone Ministries of Litchfield or Hearts United.
