LaVonne Sutton

Birdie LaVonne Sutton, 77, of Marshall, MO, formerly of Litchfield, passed away on Thurs., Nov. 19, 2020 at 7:50 a.m. at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.  She was born on Dec. 24, 1942, in Alton, IL, a daughter of Rady Onis and Hazel Gladys (McCann) McKenzie.  LaVonne dedicated her time to being a homemaker.  She married Chester Earl Sutton on November 23, 1960.  He preceded her in death on January 1, 2006.  LaVonne enjoyed crocheting, making ceramics, being with her family, and taking care of her home.  She is survived by:

3 brothers, Sam (Mary) McKenzie of Livingston, IL

                 Sara Rhodes of Litchfield

1 granddaughter, Amanda L. Sutton

2 great-grandchildren, Liam and Hudson Mierotto

In addition to her husband, LaVonne was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel McKenzie.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 6 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until time of service.

Committal service will be held Wed, Nov. 25 at 1 p.m. at Annapolis Cemetery in Annapolis, MO. Due to CDC guidelines, social distancing rules will apply and masks will be required.
