Kristine M. Hauter

Kristine Marie Hauter, 36, of Decatur, formerly of Litchfield, passed away on Sun., Oct. 4, 2020 at 9:40 p.m. in her home.  She was born on Feb. 14, 1984, in Springfield, IL.  Kristine attended Litchfield High School and received her GED later.  She went on to Robert Morris College and received an Associate’s Degree in paralegal studies.  Over the years, her relationships included Nick Gerl and Keith Hauter.  Kristine married Keith Hauter, and they later divorced.  She enjoyed interior decorating, shopping, and following the latest clothing and fashion trends.  Kristine is survived by:

Kristine was preceded in death by her step-father, Matthew Allen Hull.

Graveside services for Kristine will be held on Sun., Oct. 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield.  Rev. Mike Rogers of Litchfield Southern Baptist Church will officiate.  Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Sat., Oct. 10, 2020 from 5:00 p.m.  – 7:00 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home.  Memorials may be designated to the family of Kristine Hauter c/o Susie Hull - White.  Due to CDC guidelines, social distancing rules will apply and masks will be required.
