Kevin Lemar Scott

Kevin Lemar Scott, 58, of Litchfield, passed away Friday, April 18, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Litchfield, IL, on July 21, 1966, a son of Alvin Lemar and Pauline Mae (Stockamp) Scott. Kevin graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1985 and continued his education at Rankin Technical College. He was a self-employed plumber and handyman and was also a cook at The Ariston Café for several years. Kevin was a member of the Litchfield Moose Lodge #1634, and enjoyed snowmobiling, riding his dirt bike, and was a great cook. Kevin will be missed by many. He was always the life of the party & brought so many laughs and smiles to people’s faces over the years. He was the best plumber around & had a heart of gold.

He and Tracy R. Doht were married in 1993 and later divorced.

Kevin is survived by:

Daughters, Abbigael Scott and Kaitlyn Doht, both of Mt. Olive, IL

Sisters, Brenda (Larry) LeGrand and Karen (Mark) Viehweg, of Litchfield

Several nieces and nephews.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Funeral services for Kevin will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
