Kathryn Frances Daly

Kathryn “Kitty” Frances Daly, age 95, of Litchfield, passed away on Thur., March 18, 2021 at 1:40 a.m. in Heritage Health in Gillespie, Illinois.  Born on April 25, 1925 in Livingston, IL, a daughter of Frank and Mary (Dragovich) Polovich. Kathryn married Richard Daly on June 9, 1945 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Livingston.  He preceded her in death on January 28, 2011. She worked at Roller Derby Skate Corp for 33 years, until her retirement.  She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church of Litchfield and St. Anne’s Society. Mrs. Daly was an avid bowler and enjoyed going to Las Vegas for bowling tournaments. She received several awards throughout her many years of bowling. She also loved her St. Louis Cardinals.  

She is survived by:

 1 daughter, Mary Ann (James) Komor of Litchfield

4 grandchildren, James (Angie) Komor, Jr. Richard (Barb) Komor, Michelle (David) Hearn and Krista Komor

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 2 sisters, Dorothy Sveglich and Anna Bellovich

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wed., Mar. 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Litchfield.  Father Dan Willenborg will preside.  Burial will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tues., Mar. 23, 2021 at Plummer Funeral Home.  Memorials may be designated to Holy Family Catholic Church OR Montgomery County Cancer Association. Due to CDC guidelines, social distancing and masks will be required.
