Kathleen Susan Clearwater

Kathleen Susan Clearwater, 72, of Carlinville, formerly of Litchfield, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. She was born in Litchfield on July 10, 1952, a daughter of Eugene Frederick and Catherine Amy (Heise) Clearwater. Kathleen was a supervisor for many years with Walmart Stores, Inc. She was a voracious reader, and a member of the Walshville Christian Church.

Kathleen is survived by her son, Joshua E. Clearwater of Ames, Iowa and her brother, Robert Clearwater of Hillsboro, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Clearwater and Catherine Amy (Heise) Heltsley; a brother, John Clearwater, and sisters Mary Ann Hollis, Margaret Jane Reed, Charlotte Reynolds, and Connie Reener.

Graveside services for Kathleen will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Holy Cross Cemetery in Litchfield. Fr. Alan Hunter and Rev. Mark Johnson officiating. There will be no visitation.
