June Carol (Spruill) Robinson

June Carol Robinson, 79, of Litchfield, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in O’Fallon, IL. She was born in Columbia, North Carolina on June 26, 1944, a daughter of William Eli and Minnie I. (Lamb) Spruill. June and Herbert Ross “Robbie” Robinson were married October 8, 1966, in Litchfield. He preceded her in death on September 21, 2004.

Alongside her late husband Robbie, June worked at Robbie’s Bait & Tackle from 1980-1995 and was a Home Interiors Representative. She also enjoyed fishing, shopping, traveling, interior designing, working in her flower gardens, and creating floral arrangements for weddings. 

In addition to her companion of many years, Douglas Dale, June is survived by:

2 daughters, Debra Deyon of Northridge, CA, and Penny (James H. Jr.) Werner of Butler

2 brothers, Billy (Michelle) Spruill, Sr. and Joseph (Ann) Spruill, both of Chesapeake, VA

1 granddaughter, Felicia Zirkelbach of IA

2 great-grandchildren, Hayden and Chase Zirkelbach of IA

Memorial services for Mrs. Robinson will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Plummer Funeral Home at 12:00 pm. Memorial visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of services.
