Jessica Ann Rovey

Jessica Ann Rovey, 44, of Litchfield, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 9:51 a.m. at HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield. She was born in St. Louis, MO, February 16, 1981, a daughter of Frederick Eugene and Sandra Lynn (Fech) Hood. Jessica was a graduate of Mt. Olive High School with the class of 1999. She was employed with Residential Hospice. Jessica was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hillsboro, and enjoyed watching Christmas movies, camping at Honey Bend campground, cooking, and loved her family dearly. She married Shannon Rovey on June 6, 2014, on the bridge at Walton Park in Litchfield. He survives.

Mother and step-father, Sandra (Larry) King of Granite City, IL

Husband, Shannon, of Litchfield

Sons, Zach Rovey, Jace Rovey, Kameron Rovey, and Kayden Rovey, all of Litchfield

Daughter, Emma Belt of Litchfield

Siblings, Justin (Dawn) Hood of El Paso, TX; Jason (Becki Schuster) Hood of Litchfield; Andrew Hood of Colorado Springs, CO; Lucas (Kloe) Hood of Hinesville, GA; Travis King of Granite City, IL; and Taylor (Lucas) Buerk of Grant, AL

Step-siblings, Larry King of Troy, IL and Krystal (Chris) Fulton of Highland, IL

Mother-in law, Ruth (Donald) Jett

Several nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Violet Fech, Elmer Fech, Hervana Hood and Ronald Hood; and father-in-law Jasper Rovey.

Funeral services for Jessica will be held Friday, February 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery in Litchfield. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 27, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home. The family respectfully asks that in lieu of flowers,  memorials may be directed to Shannon Rovey to help with expenses.
