Harold Herbert Fahl, 95, of Raymond, passed away on Tues., Jan. 19, 2021 at 2:30 a.m. at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hillsboro, IL. He was born on April 25, 1925, on the family farm near Raymond, a son of Herbert and Marie Fahl. Mr Fahl was a life-time farmer. He also worked for Held Sales and Service as a carpet and linoleum installer. He married the former Alice Marie Hall on May 16, 1945 at St. Raymond’s Catholic Church. They celebrated 65 years of marriage before she passed away on Jan. 23, 2011. Harold was a member of St. Raymond’s Catholic Church in Raymond, and an older living member of the Raymond Knights of Columbus; Council #4696. Mr. Fahl enjoyed high school sports, and supporting the Lincolnwood Lancers. He is survived by:

In addition to his wife Alice, Harold was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother-in-law, Bruce Hall.
Graveside services will be held on Fri., Jan. 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Raymond Cemetery in Raymond. Fr. Christudas with St. Raymond Catholic Church will officiate. No visitation will be held. Memorials may be designated to Doyle Public Library or PAWS Care of Montgomery County.
