Gladys Marie (Crowe) Morgan

Gladys Marie Morgan, 75, of Litchfield, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 8:44 p.m. at her residence. She was born August 30, 1947 in Seymour,IN  ,  a daughter of Dale and JoAnn (Mullins) Crowe. She graduated in 1965 from Clearspring High School in Clearspring, IN.  She married Paul A. Morgan, he preceded her in death on January 29. 2017. Gladys farmed with her husband Paul for many years. She was employed by HSHS St. Francis Hospital in the Dietary Department and Litchfield Community Unit School District #12 in Food Service. She enjoyed cooking, baking, was an excellent seamstress, and serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She attended the Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro, IL. She is survived by:

3 daughters, Lisa (Karl) Murzynski of Hillsboro, IL; Kim (Steve) Reynolds of Litchfield, IL; and Kris (Brad) Schnitker of Hoyleton, IL.

5 grandsons, Ethan (Alicia) Murzynski and Clay Murzynski, both of Hillsboro, IL; B.J. (fiancé Britlyn) Schnitker; Brandon Schnitker; and Brayden Schnitker all of Hoyleton, IL.

1 granddaughter, Maggie Reynolds of Litchfield, IL.

2 sisters Connie (Mike) Gewirtz of Ashmore, IL and Dalene (Kent) Lanum of Jeffersonville, IN.

2 nieces, Rachel (Josh) Green and Emily (Braden) Martin.

1 nephew, Reagan Lanum.

2 great-nieces, Olivia Green and Alayna Green.

In addition to her husband Paul, Gladys was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Gladys will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Hillsboro Free Methodist Church, 1400 Seymour Ave. Hillsboro, IL, with Rev. Randy Sands officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield. Visitation will be held Friday, September 16, 2022 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home, 404 E. Union Ave., Litchfield, IL. The family suggests memorials be made to Montgomery County Cancer Association or Hillsboro Free Methodist Church.
