Frances “Shug” Ann Jett 85, of Donnellson, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Tremont Assisted Living in Hillsboro, IL. She was born on December 3, 1940, in Ashley, IL, a daughter of Walter and Hazel (Lamar) Ceglinski. She married Darrell M. Jett, on May 14, 1983, in Mulberry Grove, IL. He preceded her in death on September 9, 2024. Shug worked at Greenville Hospital until her retirement in 2003. Beyond her hospital work, she owned and operated Red Ball Express, a self-employed cleaning business. Shug was known for her cooking skills, particularly her love for cooking, and hosting large family dinners. She loved painting pictures and was a talented photographer. Shug was a creative soul who left behind a beautiful legacy through her art and photography.

In addition to her husband, Darrell, Shug was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside memorial services will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at King Cemetery in Irving, IL. Friends and family will gather following the service for lunch at the Donnellson Village Hall, located at 407 Jefferson St., Donnellson, IL 62019.
