Eric Holloway

Eric George Holloway, 40, of Litchfield, passed away on Mon., Jan. 18, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.  He was born on Dec. 10, 1980, in Litchfield, IL, a son of Bert Dolan and Donna Faye (Osterbuhr) Holloway.  Eric was a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  He was a Master Sgt. E7 in communications and retired in Dec. 2019.  Eric graduated from Litchfield High School with the Class of 1999.  He later graduated from the Community College of the Air Force with his Bachelor’s Degree.  He married the former Keamarose Edana Jenkins on Sept. 13, 2013 in Mt. Olive, at Eric’s parent’s home.   She survives.  Eric was a life-time member of the VFW Post 3912 in Litchfield.  He enjoyed computers, music, playing saxophone, bass guitar, and especially spending time with his family.

1 step-daughter, Edana Hogsett of Litchfield

2 brothers, Dolan (Helen) Holloway of Litchfield

                    Timothy (Sarah) Holloway of Greenville

Nieces & Nephew, Bert (Jacquelyn) Holloway; Monet Bruce; Grace Holloway; Emma Holloway

Eric was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Sat., Jan. 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Living Stones Church in Litchfield.  Paul Jones of Litchfield will officiate.  Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery in Litchfield.  Visitation will be held on Fri., Jan. 22, 2021 from 3 – 7 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield.  Memorials may be designated to the family of Eric Holloway. Due to CDC guidelines, social distancing and masks will be required.
