Emma Lou (Cerny) Feller

Emma Lou Feller, 92, of Litchfield, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 1:03 a.m., at Edwardsville Care Center in Edwardsville. She was born December 28, 1930, to Ed J. and Blanche M. (Keller) Cerny, in Anna, IL.  She married John Lewis Feller July 9, 1949, in Anna, IL. He preceded her in death on January 31, 1994. She was employed for 37 years in bookkeeping and payroll at Litchfield Creamery Co. - Milnot. Mrs. Feller was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church where she served in various ways, including St. Anne’s Society.  Mrs. Feller was also a member of the HSHS St. Francis Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.  She enjoyed traveling, walking and swimming.

Mrs. Feller is survived by:

1 niece, Joann (Bob) Barth, of Swansea, IL,

2 nephews, Noel (Brenda) Cerny, of Phoenix, AZ, and Bill (Thelma) Reames, of Fairview Heights, IL.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Feller was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Cerny, her sister, Mary Reames, her nephew, Kevin Cerny, and her niece, Nancy Long.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Litchfield. Fr. Dan Willenborg will preside. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Litchfield. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to the Copper Creek Activity Fund or to St. Anne’s Society.
