Eloisa Martinez Alvarado, 74, of Carlinville, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at 6:55 p.m., at Heritage Health & Senior Care in Carlinville. She was born in Dallas, TX, on December 27, 1948, to Fidel and Lucia (Martinez) Alvarado.  Ms. Alvarado was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, dancing, crossword puzzles and being with her family.

She is survived by:

1 daughter, Leticia (William) Chamberlin, of Hillsboro. IL

2 brothers, Armando (Bianca) Chavez and Edward Chavez, both of Dallas, TX

5 grandchildren, Priscilla (Lorenzo) Gonzalez, Alexa Rodriquez, Jacob Rodriquez, Joseph Montiel & Mario Montiel

2 great-grandchildren, Winter Gonzalez & Alani Alaniz

1 sister, Cynthia Alba, of Dallas TX

In addition to her parents, Ms. Alvarado was preceded in death by one grandson son, Octavio Velazquez, Jr.
