Edward Allen Wuttke, 77, of Litchfield, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 5:38 a.m. at Bria of Columbia Skilled Heathcare Center in Columbia, IL.
Born August 24, 1947 in Richmond, Mo. The son of John and Mary (Hardie) Wuttke. He graduated from Richmond High School, Class of 1965, and attended the University of Missouri at Columbia. Ed was employed for 30 years with Honeywell – Bull selling computers. Ed was an avid golf player, and a fan and supporter of Missou athletics. Ed was a member of the Litchfield Country Club and the Antler’s Club of Litchfield. Ed married the former Wendy Brawley on November 27, 1971 and she survives. Ed and Wendy were owners and operators of the Rainmaker Campground in rural Butler, IL on Lake Lou Yaeger, which was developed and operated by Wendy’s parents, Rex and June Brawley.
In addition to his wife, Wendy, Ed is survived by their daughter, Regan (Brian) Taylor of Breese, IL and granddaughter, Emma. Ed is preceded in death by his parents and his father and mother-in-law, Rex ad Bebe June Brawley.
A memorial gathering and celebration of Ed’s life will be announced at later date.
