Edith Marie (Flack) Law

Edith Marie Law, 90, of Litchfield, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 7:08 p.m. at Heritage Health in Litchfield. She was born in Wood River, IL on January 15, 1932, to Rev. John Louis and Bertha Florence (England) Flack. She married Clarence Dale “Dutch” Law, Sr. On August 25, 1950, at Litchfield Assembly of God Church. He preceded her in death on January 25, 2011. Mrs. Law had been employed at Roller Derby Skate Corp. and as a telephone operator. Known as a great cook, she had also been employed at the White Cottage Café and the Spring Air Café, both in Raymond. She enjoyed hobbies and crafts and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.

2 sons, Thomas E. (Sandra) Law, Sr. of Union, MO and Will (Michele) Law of Litchfield

4 daughters, Bertha Law of Litchfield; Lawanda (Jeffrey) Allen of Decatur, IL; Nora Law of Litchfield; and Mary Lou (Roger, Sr.) Allgood of Cave-In-Rock, IL

1 sister, Stella Stevens of Hemet, CA

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Law was preceded in death by a son, Clarence Law, Jr.; a daughter, Alberta Jean Watson; 4 brothers, David Flack, John Flack, Melvin Flack, William Flack and Reuben Flack; two sisters; Lucy Hale and Neoma Wineke.

Funeral services for Mrs. Law will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Rev. Jim Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Litchfield Veterans Memorial Garden.
