Duane Allen Hokenson, 58, of Coffeen, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at his home at 3:44 pm. He was born a son of Harold and Loretta Louise (Mayfield) Hokenson on January 31, 1966, in Alton, IL. Duane graduated from Alton High School and then enlisted into the United States Army. He married Misty Hokenson and they later divorced.
During his life, he worked at Carlyle Syntech, Ponder Equipment, and Eliott’s Roadside Service & Towing. He was a mechanic for many years and greatly enjoyed it. Duane also enjoyed working on and riding motorcycles, singing karaoke, and spending time with his family.
Mr. Hokenson is survived by his sons, Cameron Hokenson & Keyson Hokenson, his father, Harold Hokenson, his brother, Dale (Mary) Hokenson, his sister, Pam (Jay) Short, several nieces & nephews, along with his best friends, Wally Martin, and Barry (Teresa) Lowe.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Loretta Hokenson, his brother, Dean Hokenson, & his grandmother, Ada Hunter.
