Dorothy Vincent

Dorothy Mae Vincent, 81, of Hillsboro, formerly of Litchfield, passed away on Tues., Dec. 21, 2021 at 11:49 a.m. at Hillsboro Area Hospital in Hillsboro.  She was born on March 23, 1940, in Schell City, MO, a daughter of Everett Leo and Lucille Elizabeth (Watkins) Malcom.  Dorothy worked as a housekeeper.  She married Orval Lee Hannel in Hardin, IL.  They later divorced.  Dorothy had a second marriage with Harold LeRoy Vincent in Greenville, IL.  She was a member of Living Stones Church in Litchfield.  In her younger years, Dorothy enjoyed playing softball.  She liked gardening, and reading her bible.  She is survived by:

3 sons, Randy Hannel; Allen Hannel;            Bill (Tabitha) Vincent

4 sisters, Virginia (Charles) Ford; Nadene Ford; Alice Grimm; Alberta Sue Gaal

4 grandchildren, Stephanie Hannel; Lori Hannel; Steven Hannel; Arianna Vincent

1 step-grandchild, Joseph Lawrence

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; 3 brothers, Orin Kimbro; Allen Kimbro; Edward Kimbro; Arthur Malcom.

Graveside funeral service will be held on Wed., Dec. 29, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Moro Cemetery in Moro, IL.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield, with a funeral procession immediately following.  Memorials may be designated to Montgomery Co. Cancer Association.
