Dorothy Louise Roach, 93, of Raymond, passed away on Thurs., Nov. 25, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. at Montgomery County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylor Springs. She was born on March 30, 1928, in Waggoner, IL, a daughter of Earl Joseph and Lola B. (Norton) Welge. In her early years, Dorothy worked at the Brown Shoe Co. in Litchfield; Berry Nursing Home, and was a cook for Raymond-Lincolnwood Schools and the White Cottage Café in Raymond. She later dedicated her time to being a homemaker. She married Fred Aubrey Roach on April 6, 1946 in Girard, IL. He preceded her in death on June 12, 2018. Dorothy was a member of A Community of Faith Church in Raymond, and a member of the Waggoner American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and traveling in her spare time. She is survived by:

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred; 1 daughter, Sheila McIntyre; 2 brothers, Clarence Welge; Robert Welge; 2 sisters, Marcella Woods; Frances Waldeck Reener.
Funeral services will be held on Tues., Nov. 30, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Rev. Ralph Ward will officiate. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery in Raymond. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be designated to A Community of Faith Church or Waggoner American Legion Post 701.
