Donna Lynn (Munos) Jett

Donna Lynn (Munos) Jett, 63, of Belleville, formerly of Litchfield, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024, in Highland. She was born in Litchfield, a daughter of Donald and Darlene (Miller) Munos. She graduated from Litchfield High School with the Class of 1979, and from Lincoln Land Community College. Donna married Jerry “Hook” Louis Jett on April 18, 1980, and they later divorced. She was employed as a Head Start teacher in the Belleville school district and loved teaching her young students. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Donna was a member of Damascus Road Fellowship in Belleville.

Donna is survived by:

2 sons, Jerry L. Jett, II and Benjamin Jett, both of Belleville

A brother, Steve (Diane) Munos of Gillespie

A sister, Leigh Ann (Tony) Long of Litchfield

5 grandchildren, Cassandra (Jake) Frost, Eleesa Jett, Nathan Jett, Matthew Jett and Haylie Jett

2 great-grandchildren, Caroline and Valerie.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Darlene Munos, and a granddaughter, Harley Jett.

Graveside funeral services for Donna will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2024, in King Cemetery near Irving. Rev. Vance Vyers of Damascus Road Fellowship in Belleville will officiate. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. The family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be directed to the family for funeral expenses.
