Debra Kay (Kahl) Green

Debra Kay (Kahl) Green, 65 of Raymond, formerly of Hillsboro and Litchfield, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 7:14 a.m. at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Debra was born August 28, 1958 in Litchfield, IL the daughter of Henry John and Estella Rose (Crocks) Kahl.  She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School. She married Gary Lee Denney and they later divorced.

She worked various jobs working at Echlin Mfg., Midwest Target, Addus HomeCare, Housekeeping and babysitting. 

She is survived her son, Kyle Denney of Raymond, IL and her brother Ron Kahl of Hillsboro.

Niece, Michelle (Kevin) Tenpenny of Ramsey, IL., and a nephew, Ron (Jennifer) Kahl, Jr. of Gainesville, MO., along with several cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service for Mrs. Green will be held Monday afternoon, October 16, at 3:00 p.m. at the Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield.  Kevin Tenpenny will officiate.  There will be no visitation.
