Constance "Connie" Louise Frerichs

Constance “Connie” Louise Frerichs, 67, of Litchfield, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024, at St. Louis University Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. She was born in Staunton, IL, November 26, 1957, a daughter of Ronald Harrison and Marie Louise (Albrecht) Pursell. She graduated from Litchfield High School with the Class of 1975. Connie and Bradley Steven Frerichs were married November 3, 1979, at Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield. He survives. Connie was the long-time manager of the former Eades Dairy Queen in Litchfield. She was a member of Grace Church in Maryland Heights, MO, enjoyed Bible study, was a board member of Prepare the Way With Love and Praise Ministries, and a dedicated volunteer at Hearts United in Litchfield.

A son, Casey Frerichs of Litchfield

A daughter, Courtney (Nicholas) Wood of Alton

A half-brother, Joey Kostadin of Livingston

A sister Tina (Winston) Grabner of Litchfield

6 grandchildren, Serenity Wood, Victoria Wood, Colin Wood, Haylee Farmer, Heaven Farmer and Jayde Farmer

A great grandchild, Jada Wood

A niece, Dr. Tayler (Zachary) Shelton of Hillsboro

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, and a half-brother, Christopher Kostadin.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Connie will be held at 12 noon Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Rev. Jerry Frazier of Grace Church in Maryland Heights, MO will officiate.  Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Cahokia Township, in rural Litchfield. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. The family requests memorials be directed to Hearts United, 110 N. Jackson Street, Litchfield IL, 62056.
