Christine Marie Hicks

Christine “Chris” Marie Hicks, 57, of Litchfield, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 2:44 p.m., in her home, surrounded by loved ones. Born December 25, 1962, the daughter of Wayne Louis and Gracia “Grace” Evelyn (Guyette) Curto. She married Leo Anderson Hicks on August 13, 1982 in Litchfield.

Mrs. Hicks worked for Wal-Mart, McDonald’s and Bailey & Associates. She and her husband owned and operated, Eli Billards & Dance, The SkateZone and Shooters Retreat where they hosted Co-Ed and a kids shooting league. Mrs. Hicks enjoyed bowling and playing women’s softball. She loved traveling and donating her time and talents to volunteer organizations. She was a die hard Chicago Cubs fan.

Surviving are;

2 sons; Zachary (Tara) Hicks of Pana, IL; Toby (Cari) Hicks of Taylorville, IL

1 daughter; Karia Tackaberry of Litchfield

1 brother; Carl (Debbie) Curto of Litchfield

1 sister; Carol Curto of Litchfield

3 grandchildren; Brandon Hicks; Skylar Hicks; Ireland Hicks

Several nieces and nephews

 Mrs. Hicks is preceded in death by her parents and an infant Brother, Wayne L Curto Jr.

 Funeral services will be held on Tues. Feb. 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Family friend, Mark Burdell will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until time of service Tuesday in Plummer Funeral Home.
