Chlorus D. Jarman, Jr.

Chlorus Donald Jarman, Jr., 73, of Litchfield, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 1:55 p.m. in Hillsboro Health and Rehabilitation Center.  He was born on Nov. 16, 1946, in Litchfield, IL, a son of Chlorus Donald and Lena Eileen (Pruitt) Jarman, Sr.  Mr. Jarman was a veteran of the U.S. Army - Vietnam War, stationed in Germany.  He graduated from Litchfield High School with the Class of 1967.  Mr. Jarman was a Laborer for Elmwood Cemetery Association in Litchfield. He also worked at Worksaver, The Litchfield Park District, and was a custodian for several years for Litchfield High School.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Litchfield.  He enjoyed genealogy.  Chlorus is survived by:

1 son, Donnie (Faye) Jarman, III of Litchfield

1 brother, Lee (Linda) Jarman of Litchfield

2 sisters, Diane (Rev. Jim) Wagahoff of Raymond

                  Nyla (Curtis) Bruhn of Gillespie

3 grandchildren, Caitlyn, Corianne and Logan Jarman

Mr. Jarman was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services for Chlorus will be conducted on Monday, August 24, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. in Elm Lawn Cemetery. Rev. William Wagahoff will officiate. There will be no visitation.  The family suggests memorials be made to The Family c/o Donnie Jarman, III.
