Carl G. Jett

Carl Glen Jett, 66, of Litchfield, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at 4:00 p.m., at Hillsboro Area Hospital. Mr. Jett was born in Litchfield, on July 23, 1956, a son of John and Mildred I. (Hankins) Jett, Jr. He graduated from Litchfield Community High School with the Class of 1975. He attended Central Bible College where he earned his BA in Theology. Mr. Jett was a self-employed truck driver and had also owned his own construction business.  He enjoyed Bible study, motorcycling, karaoke, cracking jokes, pulling pranks and his Schnauzer, Fritz.

His brother, Ron Jett of Litchfield,

His sisters, M. Jean Snyder, Alice Ogden, both of Litchfield, Rose (Walter) Edrington of Witt, and Catherine (Ron) Hancock, of Coffeen.

Mr. Jett was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services for Mr. Jett will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at King Cemetery near Irving, IL. Everyone is welcome to bring potluck, drinks and chairs.
