Brian Thomas Thompson

Brian Thomas Thompson, 47, of Highland, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Herrin, Illinois. He was born in Hillsboro, IL on August 5, 1978, a son of James Martin Thompson, Sr. and Wanda Lorraine (Reed) Thompson. Brian was employed as a salesclerk at Goodwill Industries in Marion, IL. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, and dancing. He cared for and loved all animals. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family.

A son, Tyler Thompson of Litchfield

Siblings, James M. (Julie) Thompson, Jr. of Taylorville, IL and Natasha (Jim Gray) Thompson of Litchfield

Grandchildren, Jace Thompson and Daylon Dowdy

Several aunts and uncles

Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, and a niece, Haley Thompson.
