Bette J. Condo

Bette June Condo, 94, of Hillsboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 6:10 a.m. in Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.  She was born on May 28, 1926, in Verona, IL, the daughter of John and Ellen (Tait) Snyder.  Bette was an excellent homemaker, seamstress, and upholsterer.  She was a pianist and composed music.  Bette was a show hair model for Clairol hair products and an interior director.  She loved animals, especially her dogs.  Bette married John C. Condo on August 31, 1946, at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Virden, IL.  They later divorced.  Bette followed the Catholic faith.  She is survived by:

3 grandchildren, Thomas J. Nadratowski, Michael T. Schmidt, Amy T (Schmidt) Salcedo

Bette was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside memorial service for Bette will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. in Virden Cemetery in Virden, IL.
