Barry C. Roach, 77, of Rio Verde, AZ, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, in Scottsdale, AZ. He was born on November 12, 1948, in Litchfield, IL, the son of Billy Roach & Jackie (Woods) Roach. Barry was a graduate of Litchfield High School and Southern Illinois University. He married his wife, Kim (Wildhaber) Roach in Maui, Hawaii in 1990.
Barry started his career working at the family Western Auto Store in Litchfield, IL and went on to utilize his many sales talents at Brubaker Motors, Zimmerman Equipment Co, E.F. Truck Service, TAPCO, Bratney Equipment Company and PASCO.
Barry was an accomplished trapshooter and spent much of his free time trapshooting across the country, promoting the sport and gun safety. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, experiencing new adventures and traveling with his wife. He loved his nieces and nephews and treasured time with them reading or telling stories and inventing games. He was also known for getting them into trouble a time or two.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kim (Wildhaber) Roach; his brother, Cliff (Sheryl) Roach, sister-in-law Kris (Dennis) Shannon, brother-in-law Kirk (Dana Wakeman) Wildhaber, nephews Danny Roach & Robert (Alec) Wildhaber and nieces Alyssa K. Shannon Fox & Amanda C. Shannon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew David Roach.
A private inurnment will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery in Highland, IL on Saturday, April 18, 2026, followed by a Celebration of Life from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the Litchfield Country Club.
