Barbara Ann Robinson

Barbara Ann Robinson, 73, of Hillsboro (formerly of Litchfield) passed away on Tuesday, Mar. 24, 2020 at 11:15 p.m. in Hillsboro Area Hospital.  She was born on May 26, 1946 in Litchfield, IL, a daughter of Ralph Laverne and Mary Isabelle (Small) Campbell.  She graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1964. She worked at Jaeger Beauty Supply Company in Springfield, IL. She also worked at Care Inn Convalescent Center/ Litchfield Health Care Center, for 20 years, as a housekeeper and office assistant, until she retired in 2009. Barbara was a member of St. Timothy United Methodist Church.  She was an excellent singer and was a member of St. Timothy’s Choir. She also sang at numerous weddings and funerals. She was a “Unite” Ambassador of Hillsboro Rehab and Health Care Center. She enjoyed macramé, ceramics, crocheting and embroidery.

She is survived by:

1 son, Walter, (Yvonne) Robinson Jr. of Litchfield

3 grandchildren, Anthony (Shamera) Robinson; Ian Robinson; Sydney Robinson

3 great-grandchildren, Keenan Powell; Ryann Robinson; Noelle Robinson

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Timothy United Methodist Church.  Rev. Jake Wetterlin will officiate.  No visitation will be held.  Inurnment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
