Barbara E. Jaeger

Barbara Ellen Jaeger, 86, of Glen Carbon passed away on Tues, Jan. 21, 2020 at 7:15 p.m. in Meridian Village in Glen Carbon.  She was born on May 25, 1933 in Beardstown, IL, a daughter of Ernest Arthur and Dorothy Marie (Smith) Little.  She graduated from Beardstown High School with the Class of 1951.  Barbara married John Herman Jaeger on Nov. 22, 1953 in Harvel, IL.  He preceded her in death on June 23, 2013.  She was a farmwife – homemaker.  Barbara was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Trinity Lutheran Ladies Aid in Harvel.  She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and spending her winters in Florida with her husband John.  She especially loved her family and was proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Barbara was known to be a good cook.  She is survived by:

In addition to her husband, Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held Sat., Jan. 25, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church in Harvel.  Vicar Joe Nehring will officiate.  Burial will be in Harvel Cemetery in Harvel.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday in the church.  The family suggests memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church in Harvel or Siteman Cancer Center, 4921 Parkview Pl, St. Louis, MO 63110.
