Shirley I. Davidson

Shirley Ilene Davidson, 82, of Litchfield, passed away Thurs., May 9, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in her home.  She was born on Aug. 22, 1936 in Ramsey, IL, a daughter of Clarence Edward & Pearl Marie (Murkins) Blades.  She was a homemaker all of her life.  In her leisure time, she enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles.  Shirley loved spending time with her family who always looked forward to her salad at their family gatherings.  She was especially fond of her little Shih Tzu, “Brady.”  She loved the color red and wore it often.  She is survived by:

   2 daughters, Wanda (Dwayne “Ponch”) Jarman of Litchfield

                        Debra (Gary) Mercer of Johnston City

   1 sister,         Carol (David) Stiner of Palisade, MN

   7 grandchildren

   18 great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Clarence Dale Blades & Everett Laverne “Buster” Blades; 1 grandson, Gregory Marshall; 1 great-grandson, Trevor L. Jarman.

Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.  The family suggests memorials to Litchfield Food Pantry or Paws Care of Montgomery County.
