Ruth Mildred Jubelt, 90, of Litchfield, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 5:45 a.m. at Copper Creek Cottages and Memory Care in Litchfield.
Born March 1, 1928 in Litchfield, a daughter of Herman Fred and Martha Dina (Sewing) Nobbe. She attended Zion Lutheran School and Worked at the Egg Warehouse for several years, candling eggs. She also worked for Pfolsgrof Jewelers in downtown Litchfield and at the Litchfield Community High School in the cafeteria until her retirement. Mrs. Jubelt was a faithful and lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church. She taught Sunday school and was a member of the Zion Ladies Aid. She married Marvin Walter Jubelt on August 25, 1951 at Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield. Mr. Jubelt passed away September 19, 2006.
Survivors include her daughter, Jane (Tom) Roth of Lerna, IL and son, Joel (Darla) Jubelt of Litchfield. Her sister Erma (Raymond) Johnson of Litchfield and four grandchildren.
Jeffrey (Dr. Maggie Dwiggins) Roth, Eric (Katie) Roth, Kimberly (Nate) Snyder and Levi Jubelt.
As well as her Copper Creek Cottages family who cared for and loved her.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Jubelt is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Rita Ruth Jubelt, and infant brother, Ralph Nobbe.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jubelt will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield. The Rev. Fred Kraemer will officiate, and burial will be in the Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield. Visitiation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Zion Lutheran Church. The family suggests memorials to Zion Lutheran Church.
